In a global view of Ophthalmology and its current framework in the National Health Service, the Ophthalmology Service of the Local Health Unit of Alto Minho organizes the I OFTALGEST that will take place on June 17th and 18th at Teatro Sá de Miranda in Viana do Castelo .Based on an innovative concept, the conferences are entitled “The future of Ophthalmology in the SNS”, and are exclusively dedicated to the topic of Management in Ophthalmology.
They are intended for the Directorates of Ophthalmology Services, Clinical Directorates and Boards of Directors of SNS institutions, indispensable and inseparable for an integrated, transversal and structural reflection of the theme, for the first time, on a national scale.Reflecting its preponderance, the conferences are sponsored by the Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology and the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators, with the representation of relevant entities in the health area, namely the Medical Association, ARSs, ACSS and the Ministry of Health.
